Feedback : - GAG is a Boot Manager program, this is, a program that is loaded when the
computer is turned on and allows to choose the operating system you want
to use. Its main features are:

        -Allows you to boot up to 9 different operating systems.

        -Can boot operating systems installed in primary and extended
        partitions. They can be installed on any hard disk too.

        -GAG doesn't need its own partition. It installs itself in the
        first track of the hard disk, which is reserved for this kind of
        programs. It can also be installed on a floppy disk, without using
        the hard disk.

        -Has a timer to boot a default operating system (selectable by
        the user).

        -The configuration menu can be protected with a password. Also,
        each operating system can be protected with its own password.

        -The program works in graphic modes (needs a VGA or better graphic
        card), and has a lot of icons.

        -Hides the primary partitions, allowing the installation of more
        than one DOS and/or Windows OS on the same hard disk.

        -Can exchange disk drives, allowing to boot from the second, third...
        hard disk operating systems such as MS-DOS.

        -Has a SafeBoot system, which allows you to boot your hard disk even if
        GAG is accidentally overwritten.


INSTALLATION

GAG is distributed as a floppy disk image, install it you will need
need an blank 3 1/2 inch, high density, formatted floppy. This allows you
to install GAG without worrying about what operating system you have.

Starting with GAG 4.01, all language versions are distributed on one
single disk, with a little installation program. You only have to create
the disk (see above the instructions of how to do it), boot your computer
from that disk, et voila! The instructions for using it, the FAQ and the
license can be read from the installer program.

You can put this file (DISK.DSK) as the boot image of a bootable CD-ROM,
so you can have your GAG installer on a CD, instead of floppy. There's an
ISO image in this package that you can use, if you want, to create that
bootable CD-ROM (the file is GAG.ISO).

IMPORTANT: once created, the disk will be appear to be blank (this is, you
will not be able to read it from MS-DOS, Windows,...) but GAG is on it.
Just boot your computer from it.


CREATING THE BOOT DISK

First, you will need to create the floppy. That's done using the
RAWRITE2.EXE program.


FROM DOS

Insert the formatted disk in the floppy and type

        INSTALL.BAT

Then, the program will create the boot floppy.


FROM WINDOWS

Insert the formatted disk in your floppy drive.

Open the folder where you unzipped the GAG's zip file and double-click the
icon INSTALL.BAT

The program will create the boot floppy.


FROM OS/2

Open a DOS session (it can be window or full screen) and do the same that
in FROM DOS.

If the program returns a DMA error, edit the CONFIG.SYS file and modify
your DOS variable, putting it as

        DOS=HIGH,UMB

Default value is DOS=LOW,NOUMB.

If you prefer, you can use the native program IMAGE.EXE, that comes in
the OS/2 CD-ROM.


FROM LINUX/UNIX

Insert the formatted floppy in disk drive and type

        dd if=disk.dsk of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 count=2880

If you prefer, you can do too:

        cat disk.dsk > /dev/fd0

In other UNIX systems is possible you must use something different to
/dev/fd0.


OTHER OPERATING SYSTEMS

You need a program that allows you to create floppies from disk images,
and use it to copy the file DISK.DSK into the floppy.


BOOTING GAG

Restart your computer and boot it with the created floppy. In your screen
will be shown the main menu of GAG Installer. Press '1' to read the
instructions, press '2' to read the FAQ, press '3' to read the license, or
press '4' to start the installation.


ERRORS RETURNED BY GAG Installer WHEN IT BOOTS

When GAG boots, makes some tests. If it founds an error, it shows a number
in the screen and halts the system. The errors are theses:

    GAG: 1

    BAD SECTOR: there was a read error when tried to load GAG. If you were
    booting from floppy, reinstall it on another floppy without bad sectors.
    If you were booting from hard disk, use SafeBoot to boot an operating
    system and reinstall GAG. If the error is still present, you have bad
    sectors in your hard disk.

    GAG: 3

    GAG INSTALLER NOT FOUND: the code loaded from the floppy or the hard
    disk does not have the GAG signature. Is possible that the first track
    has been overwritten. Make another installation disk and try again.

Но ! Могу се ствари исписати ( ако баш мора ) и латинично без дијакритичког словирања - заменом са  ISO basic Latin alphabet_ом на који смо се ионако свикли - мање  - више ...

Онда се СРПСКИ НАЦИОНАЛИСТИ могу забавити  ( једнако као и своје окружење ) креирањем квизова - који се касније могу uploado_вати и на неки од server_а или на вашу web страницу или чак --- форум !

Вероватно сте имали (или имате) проблема са брзином рада вашег компјутера, то јест када истовремено користите више програма комјутер вам ради доста споро. Разлог лежи у томе што вам је меморија процесора преоптерећена. Већина је онда принуђена да рестартује компјутер и тиме прекинула поједине процесе који се и даље одвијају у позади, чак и након затварања програма.

На овом топику приметио сам доста софтверских решења, што је и у реду, али!!!....

Ево једног професионалног решења без икаквог инсталирања неког софтвера:

1. На вашем десктопу на празном месту кликните десним мишем и када вам се отвори "прозоче", затим кликните на повезивање (Shortcut)

2. Отвориће вам се нови прозор и у празно поље унесите следеће %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

3. Затим притисните на даље (Next)

4. Отвориће вам се нови прозор где ћете унети неки назив (Clear Memory) или тако нешто


...и то би било то...

 О !  Куд` се њих сети  ? Да .... Објављивао сам једно , краће време ( својевремено са још двоје колега )  и тамо -  али одавно нисмо ни један од нас више на тим страницама
- јер то су биле више , уско специјализоване странице везане за професионалне фотографе - репортере , него што су се бавили овде сличним ...
Али има за оне који се баве обрадом фотографија - и више -  корисних савета и све то на Српском .... Не треба превод  !

Е - ОВАКО нешто .... Нисам видео !  Једна млада и лепа lady је имала грдних проблема са својим note book_ом  ...
Мислио сам да јој помогнем .... На desktop_у где су јој иконице , стајале су СВЕ ИСТЕ ознаке , сличне иконицама
MV2 Player_а .... Ништа .... Било ми је јасно да је вирус у питању .... Прикључио сам flash drive
да јој уградим Full Avira - Antivir Bundle и да је очистим ( напомињем да ми је flash био заштићен
посебним анти вирусним software_ом само за flash drive ) ... И ! ? НИШТА ??
Flash ми није реаговао !!!???
Када сам га прикључио на свој рачунар .... Настао је --- ПАКАО !!! Прво ми је --- МОМЕНТАЛНО
БЛОКИРАЛО --- моје системе одбране !!! Некако сам их у пар секунди повратио - али на flash drive_у ми је
анти вирус био --- ПРОБУШЕН !!!??? Једнако као и она Antivir_ова инсталациона датотека !!!???
Вирус ми се ширио по систему ГЕОМЕТРИЈСКОМ ПРОГРЕСИЈОМ и почео да ми ПРОЛАЗИ кроз --- СВЕ !!!
Датотеке које су у себи имале html code БИЛО КОЈЕ врсте док су ми моји системи заштите
радили са 200 % капацитета  !!! Борба је трајала око 45 минута ( покушана је инфилтрација унутар 1569 датотека ---- НА --- СВИМ --- ПАРТИЦИЈАМА ) и .... Извукао сам се са минималном штетом  .....
Погледао сам о коме се ради и још анализирам code вируса ....
Ради се о --- 3 !!! Инфекције

О вирусу  win32.hllp.whboy.af
Тројанцу html.whboy.af
Вирусу nvscv32.exe

Ради се о ЕКСТРЕМНО ОПАСНИМ инфекцијама јер видим ( до сада ) да је КОМПАТИБИЛАН са
свим Windows Оперативним системима али такође належе и на већину Linux_ових Macitosh_ових
али и на Free BSD једнако као и на оперативне системе многих МОБИЛНИХ ТЕЛЕФОНА , MP3 & MP4
али и КАМЕРА !!!! Дакле ---- СВЕ !!! Што у себи поседује flash drive или врти Hard Disk Drive !
Поврх свега ОШТЕЋУЈЕ ,, firmware ,, многих - тврдих дискова али и понеких типова матичних плоча !!!!
Екстремно ----- ГАДНО !!! СКРЕЋЕМ ВАМ ПАЖЊУ !!! Да од сада па за неко време будете ВРЛО ПАЖЉИВИ у КОНЕКЦИЈИ 
варијетета - ваших flash drives на ТУЂЕ ( посебно компанијске ) рачунаре јер се ова ПОШАСТ
шири ПРВОБИТНО -- ПУТЕМ --- flash drives !!! А када приметите ....... Велика већина боље да БАЦИ своје hard drives .....
У међувремену .... Спашавајте што се спасти може од података од важности - креирањем ( они кажу FLASH - ја кажем

SpeedFan can access digital sensors available on your pc. By acessing available hardware monitor chips, SpeedFan can show temperatures, voltages and fan speeds. SpeedFan can show S.M.A.R.T. data from almost evey hard disk too. Temperature sensors from almost every manufacturer are automatically detected and accessed. Usually, the only action you need to take is to rename the readings that SpeedFan found. If your hardware allows it and you properly configured SpeedFan, you can change fan speeds depending on system temperatures, thus reducing overall noise.



With the F2 key you can rename any reading found by SpeedFan. On the configuration dialog you can see the hardware monitor chips that were found, where they are located and sample readings. SpeedFan knows about a lot of different digital sensors and system bus. If you happen to see an unusually high temperature on this dialog, perhaps it is simply a disconnected sensor: something that the hardware monitor chip can monitor, but that the motherboard manufacturer didn't use.


This section is extremely powerful. Here you can fine tune your hardware. You can fix wrong temperature readings if you discover that an offset is needed because the manufacturer put the actual sensor slightly away from the monitored chip. You can even fix reported fan speeds, if they are, for example, twice the real value. The most important options here allow you to enable software fan speed control. By setting the remember it option you can tell SpeedFan to set that option whenever it starts and whenever your system resumes from standby.
